Winchester fire department is voluntary. We are accepting Fire Department Applications until the end of December. You must be 21 years of ago and live within five miles of City Limits. Applications can be picked up at City Hall 1 E. Market St. Winchester IL 62694. You can also print out the application online the link is attached below.

As of September 19th 2022 all yard material like leaves, garden plants, walnuts, and gum balls must be in Paper Bags. No more plastic trash bags are allowed. We will not pick up full trees or large limbs.
