Due to unclear wording on a previous posting the City of Winchester is requesting applications from currently certified police officers who are interested in the position of “Winchester Chief of Police”. Applications are also being accepted for positions of full and part time police officers. Applications may be picked up at Winchester City Hall at 1 E. Market St in Winchester Illinois or online at winchesteril.com. The completed applications must be submitted to Winchester City hall by 4:00 pm Monday August 3rd.
